The Seven Stages

“The Seven Stages”

“All the world’s a stage,

And all the men and women merely players;

They have their exits and their entrances;

And one man in his time plays many parts,

His acts being seven ages…”

Act 2, Scene 7, As You Like it

It is a still life with each object loosely representing the stages that Jacques alludes to in one of the most famous monologues in literature. They are – infant, schoolboy, lover, knight, judge and old age and death.

Lets celebrate each stage, each day of our lives!
