Who is it that can tell me who I am?

Who is it that can tell me who I am?

Who is it that can tell me who I am?

“Who is it that can tell me who I am?”

Act 1, Scene 4, King Lear

A plaintive question that the ageing King Lear asks. He is distraught at the loss of power and judgment and he seems to forget what he was.

In this rendition, Lear is picking his dentures, with his child-like eyes looking at you looking at him. Can you tell him who he is?
